Facilities include security services, covered parking lot, swimming pool, tennis court, community hall, barbeque pit, intercom and landscaping.

Location

Desa Embun Emas is 9.7 km from Magazine Circus. A plus point about Hillside is that it has quite a number of good restaurants. However, it is quite a distance from the city, and if that's where you are working, you should give this some consideration. I wouldn't recommend it for people working in the south side, as you have to pass through the city to go to places like the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone.

Public Transport

The nearest bus stop is at Jalan Sungai Kelian a moderate distance from the apartment. Rapid Penang Bus 104 pass through there.

Amenities

The nearest school is Dalat International School. Public schools around the area include Sekolah Menengah Tanjung Bungah and Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Tokong. Nearest market is the Tanjung Bungah Market. Nearest shopping mall is Island Plaza. Nearest petrol station is the Caltex before Hillside. Nearest hospital is Penang Adventist Hospital.

Traffic

Traffic is heavy but smooth along Jalan Tanjung Bungah, now that the road has been widened. I am perplexed, however, by the way the road lines are drawn, forcing straight-moving motorists to swerve to the left at each approaching traffic light. I consider it a disgraceful reflection of our road planning.
