Perdana Putra Building (GPS: 2.93858, 101.69218) is the office of the prime minister in Precinct 1, Putrajaya. It is one of the landmarks of Putrajaya. It is located on a small hillock 50 metres high overlooking the city. The Perdana Putra Building is finished in natural stone with a green roofing. Carrying elements of Mughal architecture, the Perdana Putra Building includes a quincunx of onion-shaped domes, similar to the Palace of Justice further down the Boulevard.

The building houses, among others, the offices of the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister. The various ministers and deputy ministers also have an office in this building. It is one of the main component of Precinct 1 of Putrajaya, together with the Putra Mosque, Dataran Putra and Perdana Walk.

The public can gain access to the Perdana Putra Building from Mondays to Fridays: 8.00 am - 12.30 pm, 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm. The building is closed on weekends and public holidays.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
