Segari Turtle Hatchery, Perak

Segari Turtle Hatchery, or Pusat Penetasan Penyu Segari, is a breeding centre for sea turtles. It is located at Pantai Pasir Panjang in Segari, Perak.

The Segari Turtle Hatchery is opened on weekdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The mission of the hatchery is to protect turtles which are often threatened by illegal harvesting of their eggs. Among the turtles being bred at the hatchey includes the giant leatherback turtle, the Olive Ridley turtle, the hawksbill turtle and the green turtle.
