Jasin District is one of the three districts that make up the State of Malacca. It is located on the eastern part of the state. It covers 678.54 sq km and has a population of 110,000 (2011 estimate). The district capital is the town of Jasin.

Jasin District comprises 20 subdistricts called Mukim. They are Ayer Panas, Batang Melaka, Bukit Senggeh, Chabau, Chin-Chin, Chohong, Jasin, Jus, Kesang, Merlimau, Nyalas, Rim, Sebatu, Selandar, Sempang, Semujok, Serkam, Sungai Rambai, Tedong and Mukim Umbai.

The villages in Jasin include Asahan, Batang Melaka, Bemban, Chin-Chin, Kesang Pajak, Nyalas, Selandar, Simpang Bekoh, Sungai Rambai and Umbai.
