The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (GPS: 3.14172, 101.68982) is a museum that showcases Islamic art from different countries as well as from different parts of history. It is located along Jalan Lembah Perdana, near Masjid Negara, and also close to the Perdana Botanical Gardens.

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia opened in December 1998. Covering 30,000 square meters, it is the largest museum of its kind in Southeast Asia. The museum houses over seven thousand artefacts including textile, jewellery and other forms of ornamentation, as well as armoury, ceramics and glassware.

The exhibits at the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia are spread across four flours, two of which are permanent galleries and another two for special galleries. The permanent galleries are the Architecture Gallery, Quran & Manuscript Gallery, India Gallery, China Gallery and Malay Gallery on Level 1, and the Textile Gallery, Jewellery Gallery, Arms & Armour Gallery, Coin Gallery, Metal Gallery, Wood Gallery and Ceramics Gallery on Level 2.

Entrance Fees

Adults: RM14
Students & Senior Citizens (Malaysians aged 55 and above): RM7
Children (aged 6 and under): Free
Tickets are priced at RM12 and RM6 respectively when the Special Galleries are closed.
