The MARDI Langkawi Agrotechnology Park (GPS: 6.36115, 99.79268) is a place where agricultural advances are showcased to visitors. It is managed by the Malaysian Agricultural Research & Development Institute, or Mardi. Known simply as Mardi Agro Park, the park is located on a 25-hectare site near the Gunung Raya Forest Reserve. It is approached using Jalan Padang Gaung.

At the Mardi Agro Park, visitors can view over 20 different species of seasonal and non-seasonal fruit trees. There are also examples of vegetables grown using hydroponics. A 8-hectare tropical rainforest is also set aside within the park. It has a 1.2 km jungle trek where visitors can get close to nature.

The Mardi Agro Park is open every day except Friday. Entrance fee is RM5.00 per adult and RM2.00 per child.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
