Jalan Padang Matsirat is possibly the longest road in Langkawi. It connects Kuah, the main town of Langkawi, on the southeastern part of the island, to Padang Matsirat, on the western coast of the island. In Kuah, Jalan Padang Matsirat starts at the junction of Jalan Ayer Hangat, where it continues as Persiaran Putra. The road ends at a T-junction with Jalan Lapangan Terbang, in the village of Padang Matsirat.

KDN Langkawi, the local branch office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has its complex along Jalan Padang Matsirat. It is housed in a three-storey building with a distinctive roof. The building houses several government departments including the Immigration Department and National Registration Department.
