Royal Johor Country Club, Johor Bahru

The Royal Johor Country Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Johor. Its history goes back to 1968, when government servants who are golf enthusiasts sought and were allocated a piece of land to build an 18-hole golf course. The first 9 holes were completed in 1970. When the second 9 holes were completed in 1974, the Royal Johor Country Club became the first golf club in Johor with an 18-hole course. The club is located at Jalan Larkin, near the heart of Johor Bahru.

Individual membership is now RM30,000. Green fees on weekdays are RM84 for guests and RM105 for visitors, and on weekends and public holidays, RM168 for guests and RM210 for visitors. Caddy fees is RM40 for Class A (blue vest), RM34 for Class B (maroon vest), and RM30 for Class C (yellow vest). Apart from the green, club facilities include swimming pool, table tennis, tennis, squash, billiard and taekwondo.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
