Fuchū City (府中市), Tokyo

Fuchū (Japanese: 府中市) is a city on the central southern part of Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. It covers 29.34 sq km (11.33 sq mi) and has a population of 255,000 people (2012 estimate). It is located on the left bank of the Tama River. Among the cities adjoining it include Kokubunji, Koganei, Chōfu, Inagi, Tama, Hino and Kunitachi.

Going to Fuchū

A number of train lines servie Fuchū including the Keiō Line (Stations: Musashinodai, Tama Reien, Higashi Fuchū, Fuchū, Bubaigawara and Nakagawara), Keiō Keibajō Line (Stations: Higashi Fuchū and Fuchūbaseimonmae), JR Nambu Line (Stations: Fuchū Hommachi, Bubaigawara and Nishifu), JR Musashino Line (Stations: Fuchū Hommachi and Kita Fuchū), and Seibu Railway's Seibu Tamagawa Line (Stations: Tama, Shiraitodai, Kyōteijō-mae and Koremasa). Major roads in the area include the Chūō Expressway, Inagi Ohashi Toll Road and Japan National Highway Route 20 (Kōshū Highway).
