Nuorilang Waterfall 诺日朗瀑布, Jiuzhaigou

Nuorilang Falls (Simplified Chinese: 诺日朗瀑布; 諾日朗瀑布; Pinyin: 諾日朗瀑布 Nuòrìlǎng Pùbù) in Jiuzhaigou Valley is the widest waterfall in China. It is 320 metres wide and 20 metres high. The name Nuorilang means "majestic" in the Tibetan language. It is located near the intersection of where the Jiuzhaigou valley branches off to Zechawa Gully and Rize Gully. It is visible from the roadside, where steps lead downwards to a viewing platform. The platform allows visitors to view the falls upclose and to walk alongside the river as it flows down the gully.

On the opposite site of the road is another viewing platform where visitors can get a panoramic view of the whole Nuorilang Falls. You can feel the energy that surges down the fall as you stand there on the wooden platform and be enveloped by the spray. And because of that, it is so difficult to photograph.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
