Air Putih is a village in Balik Pulau. The name "air putih" means "white water", in reference to the foam created by the cascades and rapids in the river. It should not be mistaken for Jalan Air Puteh, a road in the Air Itam area.
The Air Putih Village is located outside of Kongsi, on the way to Sungai Pinang. Today it is experiencing rapid residential development.
