 Air Itam Tua Pek Kong Temple
Air Itam Tua Pek Kong Temple is a temple in Air Itam dedicated to the Taoist god of prosperity. It is located in Air Itam Village. As with most Taoist communities, Air Itam has a Tua Pek Kong temple, as the deity is regarded as a protector of the settlement. The Air Itam Tua Pek Kong Temple comprises two shrines. One is beside Jalan Balik Pulau at the bottom of the hill, while another is on the hill slope about 45 minutes from the bottom shrine.
The main entrance to the Air Itam Tua Pek Kong temple was donated by the Haw Par brothers Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par in the 1930's.
Getting there
From the Air Itam market, go straight until junction with Jalan Balik Pulau. Turning left takes you to Kek Lok Si Temple. Turn right, and you see the Air Itam Tua Pek Kong Gateway to your left.
