1926 Heritage Hotel (GPS: 5.423904, 100.320775) is a hotel occupying 24 double-storey terrace houses along Burmah Road and continuing on to Jalan Imigresen. The houses were originally government quarters for civil servants of the Immigration Department. It was redeveloped by the Penang Development Corporation in 1999, refurbishing the row of government quarters that were built in 1926. It was designed in the Anglo-Malay architectural style, with elements of the Arts & Crafts style.

The 1926 Heritage Hotel occupies government residential properties that were constructed at a time when George Town was expanding outward. It was during this period that this stretch of Burmah Road saw urban development, as it transformed from the countryside to the city. Within the vicinity, the clubhouse of the Chinese Recreation Club was completed in 1931, while across the road, Burmah Road Gospel Hall was completed in 1938.
